Dark crimson in colour with a delicate nose of both red and black wild berries, and our signature savoury flavours. The palate is full, structured with fine tannins and juicy acidity.

REVIEWS & ACCOLADES
93 Points – Bob Campbell (Master of Wine)
Medium-bodied pinot noir with cherry, berry and stemmy/crushed stem flavours. A youthful and, at this stage, slightly grippy wine that will mellow with a little bottle age. Pinot with personality and character.
Winestate Magazine (Michael Cooper)
Certified organic, this deep ruby red was partly fermented in the vineyard and barrel-aged for 10 months. It has a highly fragrant, savoury bouquet, leading into a mouth-filling, notably complex wine with strong, spicy, nutty flavours, rich and firm. Full of personality, it’s very age-worthy.
92 Points – Wine Advocate
Greystone's 2017 Pinot Noir ratchets up the intensity from the Nor'wester, but it bears a distinct stylistic resemblance. Yes, there's a touch of new oak, but those cedar-spicy notes are tempered by savory hints of sous-bois and root vegetables and joined by dark cherries on the medium-bodied palate. It's a bit more concentrated and tannic as well, but it's right in line with the other elements, showing excellent balance and length on the finish.
95 Points – Sam Kim (Wine Orbit)
Youthful yet splendidly complex, the wine shows dark cherry, ripe strawberry, toasted spice, game and floral aromas on the nose, leading to a concentrated palate that is supple and beautifully flowing. The wine offers lovely fruit purity backed by seductive savoury nuances, finishing impressively long and engaging. At its best: now to 2025.
