New Head Chef Alert!

Join us in celebrating Théo Dubost, our new Head Chef at Greystone’s Cellar Door! After working alongside Chef Cameron Woodhouse for several years and spending two incredible years together in the Greystone kitchen, Théo is now stepping up to lead our culinary team. Trained in French techniques with experience at Michelin-starred restaurants in France and some of Christchurch’s finest dining establishments, Théo brings a sophisticated flair to our menu.

What Théo loves? Utilizing every part of the ingredient for a zero-waste kitchen, perfectly aligning with Greystone’s sustainable values. Théo has been a driving force behind our nose-to-tail and farm-to-plate programs. His commitment to seasonal produce ensures that each dish highlights the freshest and most flavourful ingredients, while also reducing our carbon footprint.

Théo’s top tip: Begin with a wine tasting, then indulge in a long lunch featuring ever-changing, creative dishes. His current favourite? The elegant 2022 Chardonnay.

The long lunch menu will continue to change every two weeks, reflecting the local, seasonal flavours of North Canterbury with an added touch of French flair!

Visit us soon and be sure to say hello to Théo and the team.
